Description of the Torments of Rebirth: The Asipatravana Punishment and the Mechanics of Karmic Retribution

धावतां प्लवतां चैव हा हतोऽस्मीति भाषिणाम्॥ प्राहतानां पुनः शब्दो वध्यतां च सुदारुणः॥

dhāvatāṃ plavatāṃ caiva hā hato 'smīti bhāṣiṇām || prāhatānāṃ punaḥ śabdo vadhyatāṃ ca sudāruṇaḥ

De los que corrían y trataban de nadar, clamando: «¡Ay, estoy muerto!», se oía de nuevo el sonido de los que eran golpeados y de los que eran ejecutados, sumamente terrible.
