सन्ध्ये द्वे शयने चैव नित्यं मूढः स तिष्ठति ॥ न स देवानुष्यान्श्च पितॄन् पूजयते सदा ॥

sandhye dve śayane caiva nityaṃ mūḍhaḥ sa tiṣṭhati || na sa devānuṣyāṃś ca pitṝn pūjayate sadā ||

«En los dos sandhyā (los crepúsculos) y aun al acostarse, permanecía siempre negligente y confundido. No honraba constantemente a los dioses, a los hombres ni a los antepasados».
