tyaktāḥ sarvā vayaṃ devi nirdoṣāḥ svāminā śubhe | daurbhāgyadoṣasaṃdagdhā daurbhāgyeṇa tu pīḍitāḥ
¡Oh Diosa, oh Bienaventurada!
The women/devotees (petitioners)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Varānanā (frame listener)
Scene: The women lament: though blameless, they were abandoned by their husband; scorched and tormented by misfortune, they seek Devī’s remedy.
Suffering is brought before the deity without bitterness; Purāṇic devotion frames misfortune as removable through divine grace and vrata.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra, where those afflicted by daurbhāgya seek relief through the Goddess.
No detailed rite here; it motivates the forthcoming Gaurī-vrata as the remedy for daurbhāgya.
