Transliteration

gṛhāṇamūlyaṃ padmānāṃ na gṛhītaṃ mayā hi tat | sāttvikaṃ bhāvamāsthāya sabhāryeṇa dvijottamāḥ

Translation

«Toma el precio de los lotos», pero yo no lo acepté. Manteniéndome en un ánimo sāttvico, yo, junto con mi esposa, oh el mejor de los dos veces nacidos, conservé aquella pureza de intención.
