Transliteration

yasmātteṣu vinikṣipya sahasrāṃśaṃ svatejasām | asmākaṃ dattavānrudro rakṣārthaṃ jagatāṃ śivaḥ

Translation

«Pues Rudra—Śiva, el Auspicioso protector de los mundos, depositó en esas armas una porción mil veces mayor de su propio fulgor ígneo y nos las otorgó para la salvaguarda de la creación.»
