Type: kshetra
Listener: Naimiṣāraṇya ṛṣis (frame)
Scene: A fiery, awe-inspiring figure speaks with the authority of an ascetic; he identifies himself as Pippalāda and offers to perform the resolved task, while the other figure listens, tense and dominant.
The verse cautions that raw force can coerce, but dharma requires that power be redirected into purposeful, ordered action.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra; the narrative of Pippalāda is embedded in its māhātmya to magnify the place’s sacred authority.
No explicit rite is mentioned; it introduces a duty/commission within the story.
