Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 29
प्रतिग्रहनिवृत्तस्य यात्रादशगुणं फलम् । तेन दत्तानि दानानि यज्ञैर्देवाः सुतर्पिताः
pratigrahanivṛttasya yātrādaśaguṇaṃ phalam | tena dattāni dānāni yajñairdevāḥ sutarpitāḥ
Para quien se abstiene de aceptar dones, el fruto de la peregrinación se vuelve diez veces mayor. Por las dádivas que él ofrece, los dioses quedan plenamente satisfechos como si hubieran sido complacidos por sacrificios (yajñas).
