एवं कृत्वा नरो भक्त्या लभते जन्मनः फलम् । तीर्थेषु दानं वक्ष्यामि येषु यद्दीयते तिथौ

Transliteration

evaṃ kṛtvā naro bhaktyā labhate janmanaḥ phalam | tīrtheṣu dānaṃ vakṣyāmi yeṣu yaddīyate tithau

Translation

Habiendo obrado así con devoción, el hombre obtiene el verdadero fruto del nacimiento humano. Ahora expondré las dádivas que han de ofrecerse en los tīrthas: qué debe donarse en cada tithi (día lunar).
