तृषार्तो वाऽपिबत्तोयं शशकेन समन्वितम् । अस्थिशेषं तु तत्तस्य कायं पीयूषभक्षणात्

tṛṣārto vā'pibattoyaṃ śaśakena samanvitam | asthiśeṣaṃ tu tattasya kāyaṃ pīyūṣabhakṣaṇāt

Afligido por la sed, bebió aquella agua en la que estaba presente la liebre. Por haber consumido el néctar, el cuerpo de la liebre quedó reducido a sólo huesos.
