ब्राह्मण उवाच । यदि देवाः प्रसन्ना मे कूपान्निष्कमणे त्वहम् । यष्टा स्वं मंदिरं गत्वा देवयज्ञं करोम्यहम्
brāhmaṇa uvāca | yadi devāḥ prasannā me kūpānniṣkamaṇe tvaham | yaṣṭā svaṃ maṃdiraṃ gatvā devayajñaṃ karomyaham
El brāhmaṇa dijo: «Si los dioses están complacidos conmigo, que yo pueda salir de este pozo. Yendo a mi propia casa, realizaré debidamente el deva-yajña, el sacrificio a los dioses».
