Tirtha: Gaṅgā-tīrtha at Prabhāsa (svayaṃbhū)
Type: ghat
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: A pilgrim bathes in the sacred river, then sits on darbha grass performing śrāddha with piṇḍas and tarpaṇa; the atmosphere is calm, with ancestors subtly implied as satisfied presences; the pilgrim’s face shows relief and serenity.
Tīrtha-bathing and properly performed ancestral rites relieve inner burden and the karmic anxiety of omission and commission.
The Gaṅgā/Jāhnavī water in Prabhāsa Kṣetra (as established in the surrounding verses).
Snāna (ritual bathing) at the site and śrāddha performed “vidhānena” (according to proper injunction).
