pitṝnhatvā sumālī ca tamārādhitavānpurā | so'pi mukto'bhavaddevi pāpātpitṛvadhodbhavāt
Y también Sumālī—que antaño había dado muerte a sus antepasados—lo adoró (a Śiva) con devoción. Él también, oh Diosa, quedó libre del pecado nacido del asesinato de los ancestros.
