ईश्वर उवाच । ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि लिंगं पापप्रणाशनम् । सिद्धेशाद्दक्षिणे कोणे धनुषां त्रितये स्थितम् । माण्डव्येश्वरनामानं महापातकनाशनम्
īśvara uvāca | tato gacchenmahādevi liṃgaṃ pāpapraṇāśanam | siddheśāddakṣiṇe koṇe dhanuṣāṃ tritaye sthitam | māṇḍavyeśvaranāmānaṃ mahāpātakanāśanam
Dijo Īśvara: «Luego, oh Gran Diosa, debe uno ir al liṅga que destruye los pecados, situado en la esquina meridional desde Siddheśa, a tres longitudes de arco; se llama Māṇḍavyeśvara, aniquilador de los grandes pecados».
