Skanda (deduced from Prabhāsakṣetra Māhātmya narrative style)
Tirtha: Brahmakuṇḍa (Prabhāsa)
Type: kund
Scene: As the devotee completes pradakṣiṇā, the scene expands into a visionary mandala: seven concentric island-continents, beneath them layered netherworlds; countless tīrthas appear as glowing points encircling the earth, all contained within the kuṇḍa’s circle.
Devotion at a mahā-tīrtha can equal vast religious effort elsewhere; a single rite can symbolically encompass the whole sacred cosmos.
The kuṇḍa being circumambulated in Prabhāsakṣetra—contextually Brahmakuṇḍa.
Pradakṣiṇā (circumambulation) of the kuṇḍa, whose fruit is described as equivalent to circumambulating the entire sacred earth.
