Type: ghat
Scene: Pilgrims bathe at the Gomatī’s sacred bank with Dvārakā’s temples and Kṛṣṇa’s presence implied; a distant solar eclipse motif symbolically referenced (Rāhu grasping the sun).
The presence of Bhagavān Kṛṣṇa sanctifies place and act: even a simple bath at the right tīrtha can equal extraordinary merits elsewhere.
Gomatī tīrtha at Dvārakā, specifically “in the presence of Kṛṣṇa” (kṛṣṇa-sannidhau).
Snāna (bathing) in the Gomatī; its merit is declared equivalent to eclipse-bathing at Kurukṣetra.
