गोप्यं यत्पातकं पुंसां गोमती तद्व्यपोहति । स्मरणात्कीर्त्तनाद्वापि किं पुनः प्लवने कृते
gopyaṃ yatpātakaṃ puṃsāṃ gomatī tadvyapohati | smaraṇātkīrttanādvāpi kiṃ punaḥ plavane kṛte
Cualquier pecado oculto que tengan los hombres, el río Gomati lo disipa. Si tal es el fruto de recordarla o alabarla, ¡cuánto más cuando uno se baña y se sumerge en sus aguas!
