Type: kshetra
Scene: A foremost brāhmaṇa pilgrim approaches Dvārakā, envisioned as the daily abode of Kṛṣṇa with Rukmiṇī; tīrthas are personified as present around the city’s sacred precincts.
Dvārakā is portrayed as supremely sanctifying because of Kṛṣṇa’s continual presence and the gathered potency of all tīrthas.
Dvārakā is glorified as the living abode of Kṛṣṇa and a convergence-point of tīrthas.
Pilgrimage/approach to Dvārakā (tīrtha-gamana) is implied as the recommended act.
