हन्यमानस्त्वमस्माभिर्यदि मुक्तोसि वै द्विज । कस्मात्पुनः समायातो मरणाय च दुष्टधीः
hanyamānastvamasmābhiryadi muktosi vai dvija | kasmātpunaḥ samāyāto maraṇāya ca duṣṭadhīḥ
«Si, aun siendo golpeado por nosotros, de veras escapaste, oh brāhmaṇa, ¿por qué has vuelto otra vez, con mente perversa, como si vinieras a buscar la muerte?»
