तत्राश्चर्यमभूत्पूर्वं तत्त्वं शृणु महामते । मया पूर्वं श्रुतं स्वर्गे नारदाच्छक्रसन्निधौ
tatrāścaryamabhūtpūrvaṃ tattvaṃ śṛṇu mahāmate | mayā pūrvaṃ śrutaṃ svarge nāradācchakrasannidhau
Allí, en tiempos antiguos, ocurrió una maravilla—escucha su verdadero sentido, oh magnánimo. Yo la oí antes en el cielo, de Nārada, en presencia de Śakra (Indra).
