Transliteration

tacchrutvā lakṣmaṇaścitte ciṃtayāmāsa duḥkhitaḥ | varaṃ me mṛtyurekasya mā bhūyātkulasaṃkṣayaḥ

Al oírlo, Lakṣmaṇa, afligido, reflexionó en su corazón: «Mejor que muera yo solo, a que sobrevenga la ruina de toda la dinastía».
