bāḍhamityeva so'pyuktvā pūjayitvā ca devapam | tataḥ provāca taṃ putraṃ raktaśṛṃgaṃ himālayaḥ
Él también dijo: «Así sea», y honró debidamente al Señor de los dioses. Luego Himālaya habló a su hijo Raktaśṛṅga.
Narrator (contextual)
Scene: Himālaya agrees, worships Indra, then turns to speak to his son Raktaśṛṅga, initiating the mission.
Respectful reception and honour of divine authority (and by extension dharma) is shown as the proper response before undertaking sacred tasks.
The narrative is moving toward the Nāgabila locale (explicitly mentioned in the subsequent verses), a focal point of the Tīrthamāhātmya.
Pūjā—honouring/worshipping (here, Indra as devapā)—is performed as a dharmic act preceding instruction.
