Transliteration

evaṃ tasya tṛṣārtasya patitasya dharātale | dhṛtaprāṇasya kṛcchreṇa saṃyāto'stācalaṃ raviḥ

Translation

Así, aquel hombre, atormentado por la sed, yacía caído en el suelo, sosteniendo apenas la vida con gran esfuerzo; al fin el Sol se ocultó tras la montaña del occidente.
