यंयं काममभिध्यायञ्छुक्लाष्टम्यां नरः शुचिः । तां पूजयति सद्भक्त्या स तमाप्नोत्यसंशयम्
yaṃyaṃ kāmamabhidhyāyañchuklāṣṭamyāṃ naraḥ śuciḥ | tāṃ pūjayati sadbhaktyā sa tamāpnotyasaṃśayam
Cualquier deseo que un hombre puro contemple, si en Śuklāṣṭamī (el octavo día de la quincena luminosa) la adora con devoción verdadera, sin duda alcanza aquello.
