अस्यां संपूजितो विष्णुर्यावन्मासचतुष्टयम् । ददाति सकलान्कामान्ध्यातश्चेतसि सर्वदा । शास्त्रोक्तविधिना सम्यग्व्रतस्थो जलशायिनम्
asyāṃ saṃpūjito viṣṇuryāvanmāsacatuṣṭayam | dadāti sakalānkāmāndhyātaścetasi sarvadā | śāstroktavidhinā samyagvratastho jalaśāyinam
Si desde este día se venera debidamente a Viṣṇu durante cuatro meses, meditándolo siempre en el corazón, entonces, observando el voto conforme a la norma de las śāstras y honrando al Señor que reposa en las aguas (Jalaśāyī), se alcanzan todos los fines deseados.
