इयं मे सुविशालाक्षी मनःप्राणसमा प्रिया । मृता भूमौ यया हीनो नाहं जीवितुमुत्सहे
iyaṃ me suviśālākṣī manaḥprāṇasamā priyā | mṛtā bhūmau yayā hīno nāhaṃ jīvitumutsahe
Ésta, mi amada de ojos muy grandes, tan querida como mi mente y mi aliento, yace muerta en la tierra; privado de ella, no tengo voluntad de vivir.
