ततः कौशिकरूपं तु पश्याम्यात्मानमेव च । तथापि न स्मृतिर्नष्टा मम या पूर्वसंभवा
tataḥ kauśikarūpaṃ tu paśyāmyātmānameva ca | tathāpi na smṛtirnaṣṭā mama yā pūrvasaṃbhavā
«Entonces me vi a mí mismo, en verdad, con la forma de Kauśika. Y aun así, mi memoria—nacida de mi existencia anterior—no se perdió.»
