Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 3
वामे ब्रह्मा दक्षिणे च हर एकः प्रकीर्तितः । पलाशपात्रे यो भुंक्ते नित्यमेव नरोत्तमः
vāme brahmā dakṣiṇe ca hara ekaḥ prakīrtitaḥ | palāśapātre yo bhuṃkte nityameva narottamaḥ
A la izquierda está Brahmā, y a la derecha se proclama que mora Hara, el Único. El mejor de los hombres que come siempre en un recipiente hecho de hojas de palāśa permanece colmado de mérito sagrado.
