Transliteration

idriyāṇāṃ grahaḥ kāryastapaso lakṣaṇaṃ param | nivṛttyeṃdriyalaulyaṃ ca cāturmāsye mahattapaḥ

Translation

Ha de practicarse el dominio de los sentidos; ésa es la señal suprema de la austeridad (tapas). Volverse atrás de la inquietud sensual: tal es el gran tapas durante el tiempo de Cāturmāsya.
