जंबूद्वीपस्य संज्ञेयं फलेन च विजायते । मन्त्रेणानेन विप्रेंद्र श्रद्धाधर्मसुसंयतैः

Transliteration

jaṃbūdvīpasya saṃjñeyaṃ phalena ca vijāyate | mantreṇānena vipreṃdra śraddhādharmasusaṃyataiḥ

Translation

«Por este fruto debe comprenderse el nombre “Jambūdvīpa”, pues de la fruta de jambū es como si hubiera “nacido”. Oh el mejor de los brāhmaṇas, quienes están bien disciplinados en la fe (śraddhā) y el dharma deben hacerlo con este mantra.»
