यथा न भवति श्राद्धं तस्मिन्नहनि भूतले । यत्प्रभावाद्वयं सर्वे मानुषैः श्राद्धमाश्रितैः । न यामोऽभिभवस्थानं तस्माच्छप्स्यामहे च तान्
yathā na bhavati śrāddhaṃ tasminnahani bhūtale | yatprabhāvādvayaṃ sarve mānuṣaiḥ śrāddhamāśritaiḥ | na yāmo'bhibhavasthānaṃ tasmācchapsyāmahe ca tān
«Para que en ese día, sobre la tierra, no se celebre el Śrāddha—pues, por el poder de los hombres que se acogen al Śrāddha, ninguno de nosotros llega al estado de ser sometido—por eso los maldeciremos.»
