प्रक्षाल्य चरणौ तस्य वाससी परिधापयेत् । संपूज्य गंधपुष्पाद्यैस्ततः पत्रं हिरण्मयम् । स्वशक्त्या कारयित्वाऽथ चूर्णे मुक्ताफलं न्यसेत्
prakṣālya caraṇau tasya vāsasī paridhāpayet | saṃpūjya gaṃdhapuṣpādyaistataḥ patraṃ hiraṇmayam | svaśaktyā kārayitvā'tha cūrṇe muktāphalaṃ nyaset
«Tras lavarle los pies, debe vestírsele con ropas. Habiéndolo honrado debidamente con fragancias, flores y demás, hágase preparar, según las propias posibilidades, una hoja de betel de oro, y colóquese una perla sobre el polvo aromático».
