Ṛṣis (the sages)
Type: kshetra
Listener: dvija (brāhmaṇa)
Scene: A group of venerable sages addressing a brāhmaṇa, proclaiming with certainty the removal of all defects by Brahmā’s grace; a subtle presence of Pitāmaha as a radiant four-faced deity in the background.
Grace (prasāda) flows through sacred places when anchored by deity worship and affirmed by realized sages.
Bālasakhya/Pitāmaha-tīrtha in Nāgarakhaṇḍa, praised for removing children’s afflictions and defects.
The promised fruit (phala) is tied to the earlier śiśu-snāna at this tīrtha, under Pitāmaha’s grace and the sages’ sanction.
