शंख उवाच । यदि तुष्टोऽसि मे देव यदि देयो वरो मम । जायेतां तादृशौ हस्तौ यादृशो मे पुरा स्थितौ
śaṃkha uvāca | yadi tuṣṭo'si me deva yadi deyo varo mama | jāyetāṃ tādṛśau hastau yādṛśo me purā sthitau
Śaṅkha dijo: «Si estás complacido conmigo, oh Señor, y si has de concederme un don, que mis dos manos vuelvan a ser tal como eran antes».
