नैतद्युक्तं कुलस्त्रीणां विशेषादत्र कानने । विहर्तुं दूरतः शून्ये तस्मात्त्याज्याऽसि मैथिलि
naitadyuktaṃ kulastrīṇāṃ viśeṣādatra kānane | vihartuṃ dūrataḥ śūnye tasmāttyājyā'si maithili
«Esto no es propio de una mujer noble, y menos aún aquí, en este bosque: vagar lejos por un lugar desierto. Por ello, Maithilī, has de ser abandonada.»
