विप्राणां चाथ पुत्रस्य तदोवाच सुदुःखितः । कृत्वाश्रुमोक्षणं भूरि बाष्पगद्गदया गिरा

viprāṇāṃ cātha putrasya tadovāca suduḥkhitaḥ | kṛtvāśrumokṣaṇaṃ bhūri bāṣpagadgadayā girā

Entonces, hondamente afligido, habló a los brāhmaṇas y a su hijo; derramó muchas lágrimas, con la voz entrecortada por los sollozos.
