दक्षेणाहं पुरा सृष्टश्चंद्रार्थं कुपितेन च । रोहिणीं सेवमानस्य संत्यक्तान्यासुतस्य च

dakṣeṇāhaṃ purā sṛṣṭaścaṃdrārthaṃ kupitena ca | rohiṇīṃ sevamānasya saṃtyaktānyāsutasya ca

«Antaño fui creado por Dakṣa, airado, por causa de la Luna: porque la Luna atendía sólo a Rohiṇī y desatendía a las demás hijas».
