Transliteration

etasmātkāraṇāddharmyaṃ mayā tyaktaṃ dvijottamāḥ | mokṣamārgārgalā bhūtaṃ dṛṣṭvā sarpaviceṣṭitam

Translation

Por esta misma razón, oh los mejores entre los dos veces nacidos, abandoné aquella vida doméstica tenida por “respetable”, al ver la conducta de la serpiente, convertida en cerrojo que obstruía el sendero hacia la liberación.
