औदुम्बरं ततो दण्डं पुलस्त्योऽस्मै समाददे । एणशृंगान्वितं चर्म मन्त्रवद्विजसत्तमाः
audumbaraṃ tato daṇḍaṃ pulastyo'smai samādade | eṇaśṛṃgānvitaṃ carma mantravadvijasattamāḥ
Luego Pulastya le entregó un bastón de madera de udumbara; y los más excelsos entre los dos veces nacidos, con mantras, le dieron también una piel de ciervo provista de cuernos.
