बाष्पपूर्णेक्षणो दीन उत्तराभिमुखो ययौ । पुष्पेण सहितश्चैव मुहुर्मुहुः प्रबोधितः
bāṣpapūrṇekṣaṇo dīna uttarābhimukho yayau | puṣpeṇa sahitaścaiva muhurmuhuḥ prabodhitaḥ
Con los ojos colmados de lágrimas, abatido y humilde, marchó mirando hacia el norte. Y con Puṣpa a su lado, fue una y otra vez exhortado y despertado a su propósito.
