तान्सर्वान्पोषयिष्यामि त्यज्यतां मानसो ज्वरः । तच्छ्रुत्वा चण्डशर्मा तु पुत्रैर्बंधुभिरन्वितः
tānsarvānpoṣayiṣyāmi tyajyatāṃ mānaso jvaraḥ | tacchrutvā caṇḍaśarmā tu putrairbaṃdhubhiranvitaḥ
«Yo los sustentaré y proveeré a todos—que se arroje lejos la fiebre de la mente.» Al oír esto, Caṇḍaśarmā, acompañado de sus hijos y parientes, se dispuso a obrar en consecuencia.
