Transliteration

tataḥ sā yauvanaṃ prāptā tadrūpāpi kumārikā | na kaścidvarayāmāsa śāstravākyamanusmaran

Translation

Cuando alcanzó la juventud, aunque tenía tal apariencia, nadie la pidió en matrimonio, recordando los preceptos de los śāstras.
