Transliteration

tasyaikā cābhavatpatnī prāṇebhyo'pi garīyasī | pativratā patiprāṇā patipriyahite ratā

Translation

Tenía una sola esposa, más querida para él que la propia vida: una pativratā, fiel a su voto conyugal, para quien el esposo era su aliento mismo, siempre dedicada a lo que le agradaba y le era benéfico.
