पिंडं हुताशसंतप्तं पंचाशत्पलिकं दृढम् । आदौ पूजां रवेः कृत्वा हुताशस्याथ कारयेत्
piṃḍaṃ hutāśasaṃtaptaṃ paṃcāśatpalikaṃ dṛḍham | ādau pūjāṃ raveḥ kṛtvā hutāśasyātha kārayet
Que se caliente en el fuego un sólido trozo de hierro, firme y de cincuenta palas de peso; primero, tras rendir culto a Sūrya, que se realice luego el rito del sagrado Agni.
