तस्मिञ्जयाशा शक्रस्य दानवेन्द्राय संयुगे । तारकस्य च संप्राप्य शरीरं शौर्यशालिनः
tasmiñjayāśā śakrasya dānavendrāya saṃyuge | tārakasya ca saṃprāpya śarīraṃ śauryaśālinaḥ
En aquella batalla contra el señor de los Dānavas, la victoria parecía ya al alcance de Śakra; y el cuerpo del valeroso Tāraka fue alcanzado (herido) en el fragor del combate.
