Transliteration

nāmne rodimi me sraṣṭurnāma dehi pitāmaha | rodanādrudra ityākhyāṃ samāyā ḍiṃbhako labhat

Translation

«Lloro por un nombre—oh Creador, oh Pitāmaha, concédeme un nombre.» Por aquel llanto, el infante obtuvo el apelativo de «Rudra».
