Tirtha: Dharma-tīrtha / Dharma-kūpa context begins in the immediate sequence; this verse frames ‘here’ as the praised Kāśī locus
Type: kshetra
Scene: A pilgrim in Kāśī receives a boon-like ‘equal merit’ proclamation; in the background appear emblematic vignettes of Sūkara-kṣetra (boar emblem), Gaurī’s great lake, Śaṅkhoddhāra (conch motif), and Hari’s sacred day (Viṣṇu icon).
Kāśī’s sacred sphere is described as granting the combined fruits of renowned seasonal observances and famous tīrthas.
The verse says “here,” referring to the ongoing Dharma-tīrtha/Dharma-kūpa complex praised in this adhyāya.
Observance tied to sacred times (Kārtika, Caitra, Hari’s day) and tīrtha-merit (implicitly through worship/bathing/visit).
