Transliteration

pavitraparvaṇi sadā śrāvaṇe māsi yatnataḥ | liṃge pavitramāropya mahādeve na garbhabhāk

Translation

En el sagrado Pavitraparvan, especialmente en el mes de Śrāvaṇa, debe colocarse con esmero el hilo o guirnalda ‘pavitra’ sobre el Liṅga; al hacerlo para Mahādeva, no se entra de nuevo en el vientre (se queda libre del renacimiento).
