Transliteration

tadā nirāśrayā viprāḥ kṣetrasaṃnyāsinonaghāḥ | upākṛtāścāvirataṃ mahākṣetrapratigrahāt

Translation

Entonces los brāhmaṇas sin mancha —renunciantes entregados al santo kṣetra— quedaron sin amparo mundano; y, sin embargo, eran sostenidos incesantemente por las ofrendas recibidas en aquel gran campo sagrado (Kāśī).
