gayātoṣṭaguṇaṃ puṇyamasmiṃstīrthe pitāmahāḥ | amāyāṃ somayuktāyāṃ śrāddhaiḥ kāpiladhārike

Oh Pitāmahas, en este tīrtha el mérito es ocho veces mayor que en Gayā, cuando en Kāpiladhārā, en la amāvasyā unida a Soma (la Luna), se realiza el śrāddha.
