Transliteration

pāpāṃdhakārasaṃkruddhaḥ kārtike dīpadānataḥ | krodhāṃdhakāritamukhaṃ bhāskariṃ sa na vīkṣate

Translation

Quien está cercado por la oscuridad del pecado, mediante la ofrenda de lámparas en Kārtika, ya no contempla al sol, cuyo rostro está velado por la tiniebla de la ira.
